Taylor T5 Custom

So Derek buys a Taylor T5 and Boss amp modeling processor. We took it for a test drive this weekend at our first full weekend at Shimmer’s in Traverse City, and the results were nothing short of amazing.  We managed to squeeze in a couple of rehearsals with it before taking it out live. It was time well spent.  With it’s ability to go from strumming acoustic to a variety of electric guitars, the T5 threatens to push the boundaries of our versatility even further.  We feel the T5 is a perfect fit to our instrumentation and sound that still allows us to remain acoustic semi-electric.

Wait a minute… the T5 is not nearly as exciting as the MySpace page! Great job Logan!

    oh that ole thing… lol

yeah I guess a myspace presence was about due in a “resistance is futile” sort of way. But i am honestly more excited about the T5! Thanks though Debo!

Can’t wait to hear the T5! Just to let you know, I’m getting a T6.

  4. Logan Says:

Ahh Murph always out to one up a brotha! Even if the brotha is Sicilian. you keep that up and i’ll have to commission a Taylor 13 String fretless bass!

Thanks, we’re still working out the kinks.
I wish it would sound more like my full acoustic, but I’m pretty sure that may not be possible - I would like to stay away from acoustic modelers. As for the other sounds this is capable of… amazing. I’m literally finding new sounds every day.
