Quality of Sound
Friday, September 22nd, 2006I have been talking to people after our first gig and the general consensus with regard to sound is that our is both refreshing and amazing. Refreshing in terms of volume and amazing in terms of clarity. There were things said early in the evening about Derek’s guitar volume needing to come up. That was easily corrected. I am a little concerned about the manner in which we daisy-chained the bass output from my system to Derek’s. This had the effect of amplifying both the kick drum and bass guitar. But I wonder if we lost some of Derek’s guitar in and vocal quality in the process- either by muddying his mix or causing him to have to sing harder to be heard.
